Spring Photoshoot Tips
- Bring Snacks and Favorite Toys: For little ones, having a go-to snack or toy can make the session smoother and more fun.
- New to the Camera? No Worries! Feeling nervous is normal. Just follow my lead—I’ll guide you every step of the way.
- Use Simple Props: Props like a favorite book, a small basket, or a light blanket can add a playful touch to your photos without being distracting.
- Be Punctual: Arriving at least 10 minutes early lets everyone settle in and warm up for the session, plus gives us time to explore the location.
Spring Outfit Guide
- Color Palette: Choose colors that pop against spring blooms. Soft neutrals like cream, gray, sage and blush, work beautifully. Avoid oranges, greens, yellows, and browns that may blend with flowers. Denim and Navy on cream or white is also a favorite combination!
- Comfort Comes First: Wear what makes you feel confident—your comfort will shine in the photos!
- Coordinate, Don’t Match: Families and couples should pick complementary colors for a cohesive look without being too matchy.
- Keep Prints Minimal: Logos, words, or bold patterns can distract from the main focus—you!
- Textures & Layers: Light sweaters, scarves, denim jackets, or flowy layers add depth and movement to your images.
- Practical Footwear: If wearing heels, consider bringing flats or comfy shoes for walking between locations.
